3. Quotation and Payment
Quotations:
- All quotes provided by the Company are based on the information you supply. Any changes to the scope of work may result in additional charges.
- Quotes are valid for a specified time, as stated in your offer.
Payments:
- Payments must be made in full before or upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept payments via credit/debit cards, checks, or other methods agreed upon at the time of booking.
- Deposits may be required to secure your booking and are subject to our cancellation policy.
4. Booking and Scheduling
- Customers must provide accurate information when scheduling a move.
- Changes to booking dates or requirements must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.
- We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather or safety concerns.
5. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled service are eligible for a refund of the deposit.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
6. Responsibilities and Liabilities
Customer Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all items to be moved are properly packed and labeled unless packing services are provided by us.
- Inform us of any fragile or valuable items requiring special handling.
- Be present during the moving process or designate an authorized representative.
Company Responsibilities:
- We will handle your belongings with care and professionalism.
- The Company is not responsible for damages resulting from:
- Items packed by the Customer.
- Inadequate packaging or pre-existing conditions of items.
- Delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen events.
Limits of Liability:
- Our liability for loss or damage to items is limited to the basic coverage stated in our service agreement unless additional insurance is purchased.
7. Prohibited Items
For safety and legal reasons, the following items cannot be transported:
- Hazardous materials (e.g., explosives, flammable items, chemicals).
- Perishable food or plants.
- Illegal items or substances.
Failure to comply with this policy may result in termination of services and potential legal action.
8. Storage Services
- Storage terms, fees, and durations will be outlined in a separate agreement if applicable.
- Items stored with us must be properly packed and labeled.
- The Company is not responsible for damages caused by natural disasters, pests, or other external factors beyond our control.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arcadia Florida Movers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of our services, violation of these terms, or negligence.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate services at any time if the Customer breaches these Terms and Conditions or engages in abusive, unsafe, or illegal behavior.
11. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, the following process applies:
- Informal resolution: Contact us to resolve the issue amicably.
- Formal resolution: If no resolution is reached, disputes will be subject to mediation or arbitration under the laws of the State of Florida.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
